HoRNSEA is still as far off Bridlington and Beverley as ever, but it stands now on the cliffs, and the sea encroaches every year.
Hornsea Mere (tautology, of course) is the largest lake in Yorkshire, and now lies calm and placid round its little islands, awaiting
the day when the sea shall haye broken down its defences and drained it into itself,
